Humanitarian Initiative for Yemen
The Hope Voyage will be supporting the people of Yemen in 3 categories. The Hope Voyage is a 100% humanitarian adventure that will launch permanent, life changing projects in Yemen with a focus on community self-sufficiency.
Our approach is different than most charity or emergency relief organizations, The Hope Voyage Team believes the only way to truly support a country and its people is by essentially giving them the tools needed for them to become self-sufficient.
Through our 3 humanitarian projects, we aim to give ordinary Yemenis throughout the country a livelihood in animal breeding with all the necessary tools and resources free of charge. Providing fresh water wells for communities to manage. The Hope Voyage will also expand the Nesma & Sindibad free medical center based in Seiyun, Wadi Hadhramaut in which communities across the country can not only receive free medical treatment but a place where everyday Yemeni people can learn and study traditional medicine for future certification & employment.
How you can give?
Personal Donations
Each donation received goes directly towards our humanitarian initiatives, not 1 penny is spend on The Hope Voyage Team. Each donation received, the donor will be credited on a hand made banner that will be stationed at our free medical facility in Wadi Hadhramaut, Yemen.
Volunteering
We welcome volunteers for support, most needed volunteers are that with experience in Web Design, Social Media, Marketing, Fundraising, & Experience in Livestock Industry in the MENA region.
Material Donations
We also welcome physical material donations too. These included livestock feed for Yemeni families, donations of actual livestock (goats, chickens and sheep), medical supplies such as disinfectant, bandages, splints, thermometers, medical machines and medicines such as pain-relievers, anti-inflammatory tablets, and herbal medicine equipment and medicinal herbs too.
Sponsor a Goat
With as little as $80, you can transform a Yemeni's life and give them a livelihood as a local livestock breeder giving them a skill that will serve them for the rest of there lives.
Not only will you change a life but each donor will also receive contact information of the beneficiary to communicate and create a long lasting friendship with. Donors will actually be able to see the life changing difference they made by being in direct contact with the families and individuals who received your livestock donation
Sponsor a Chicken
With as little as $20, you can provide Yemeni's with 2 live chickens, giving them sustenance & livelihood as local chicken breeders. Each donor will also receive contact information of the beneficiary to communicate and create a long lasting friendship with. Donors will actually be able to see the life changing difference they made by being in direct contact with the families and individuals who received your livestock donation
Our Mission
The Hope Voyage Campaign is a movement not just for Yemen but a way of life where adventurers from around the world can unite and embark on extraordinary adventures while at the same time actually create lasting impact and change for seriously affected countries around the world. We believe that the only way to truly give back to people in need is by giving them the proper resources, skills and training that allow them to be self-sufficient in there own towns, cities and villages and not dependent on foreign aid. Like the old saying "You give a man or woman a fish and you feed him or her for 1 day, you teach a man or woman how to fish and you will feed them for a lifetime.
